Ben Blanc At Louis Boston...
*In the above picture is Ben Blanc...in case you were wondering*
Despite the fact that I arrived to the event pretty late(I like to call it "fashionably late") I still enjoyed it! At first I was all about taking pictures of some fashionable guests which I will be posting in the few days to come. After taking a few pictures my focus was then to talk to Ben Blanc who had been talking to EVERYONE. So I was slowly making my way over to him to see if I could talk to him and finally the people he was talking to had to leave. I had an amazing conversation on art in general AND more specifically HIS art. I must say that his sculptures are amazing and I have two main reasons of why I like them so much. Reason number 1: They are life sized! There's no need to use a magnifying glass to try a figure out what the sculpture is. Reason number 2: The sculptures are done in such a creative way! I actually asked him what inspired him to create these sculptures and he said he was basically trying to play around with how light hit the sculptures and produce a cool effect. He was also trying to play around with the art technique of contour lines(which is amazing because I have been doing the same in MY art class). We just had an amazing conversation and then exchanged business cards. To sum it all up: Ben Blanc is an amazing artist and has an amazing personality and is simply a super cool person. AND the party was definitely great! Thank you to Ben Blanc for displaying your art work and thank you to Louis for hosting the event!
Stylist Christen Mitchell...
This is the talented stylist, Christen Mitchell. She has such a cool personality and she is super social. She was featured in Stuff Magazine along with me. You can do one of two things...1) Hire her to be YOUR stylist(but it costs money) OR you can quickly stop by her blog and read a couple posts.
One Man's Style...
This is Andrew. He's a cool dude. Clearly seen by the way he's dressed and posed in the picture. Andrew was also featured with me in the Stuff Magazine article. He has a blog and it's called One Man's Style or OMS for short. His blog is a cool as Andrew is himself...knowing that piece of information....YOU should check it out!
theTrendyDwarf In Stuff Magazine!...
I find myself forced to blog about this only because I am too excited about it and feel like part of venting my excitement is to blog about it. I mean...I have already told my ENTIRE family and jumped and almost cried and several other things. LOL! So I'm pretty sure that if you have been reading this blog in the past 2-3 weeks you would know that I attended a Bloggers event at Louis Boston and met tons of bloggers whose pictures I have been posting. SO...at the event a random woman approached me and asked me if I wanted to be interviewed for a magazine. I was so cool with it because who wouldn't love to be interviewed AND this woman seemed wicked amazing. She asked me several questions which I answered and then told me someone was later going to take my picture. I was like...AWESOME! When another woman taps me in the shoulder and tells me she is going to take my picture I'm like OK. She pulls me over to the spot you see in the picture and tells me to pose and since I am an awkward kid and not used to the spotlight...I pose awkwardly. I posed about 4 times and every pose was just terribly awkward. I actually thought I wasn't going to appear on any magazine simply because out of all the successful and great bloggers(legit) that were at the party mine would not be published. I thought WRONG because my blog was posted along with two other AMAZING(legit) bloggers who I truly admire and I had the pleasure of meeting and they were so cool. I was also featured along with a good friend(who I made friends with via the party/twitter) and she is such a social and amazing person. I honestly thank Stuff Magazine for featuring me in their online page and published magazine(which can be found for free across the city of Boston) and I must thank Louis Boston for allowing me to participate in their event.

Nice To Finally Meet You...
I have to quickly write something about these pictures with Martini from Beyond Boston Chic. It was so cool finally meeting Martini because after about a year of knowing her blog and reading it I really wanted to connect somehow BUT didn't know how to ask her to meet up or something since she was the only fashion blogger I knew that lived in Boston. The only reason I know of her blog is because she commented my blog a couple times when I was starting out and after freaking out about the fact that I had received a comment I checked her blog out and was surprised she was from Boston so I commented back and started following her blog. Until this day I continue reading her blog and admiring her street style photography.
It was so cool when I met Martini because I saw her come in to Louis Boston and I recognized her immediately. I promised myself that I would talk to her before she left the event. I was lucky enough to catch Martini right before she walked out of Louis Boston and I said HI and introduced myself AND she recognized me too! I thought I was going to die because I had commented several times and she never commented back so I thought she didn't remember me. I now understand why she probably never commented back BUT the point is she did remember me and since she had to leave I quickly took the pictures and she left. Hopefully we can meetup over coffee or something to discuss fashion and blogging because I would love to do something like that. I have always wanted to get together with another fashion blogger and discuss fashion and blogging because I think it would be interesting.
A Tress (Trench+Dress)...
This is Samantha from the blog A Glimpse of Glamour. GO CHECK HER BLOG OUT...it certainly IS interesting!
Interesting Poses...
Just a quick observation. It's always interesting when I ask people if I can take their picture and they respond positively. Right after they start posing or thinking of how to pose and I think it's interesting to see the poses people choose. I'm not critiquing the pose in the picture above BUT I am simply saying it's interesting to see how people pose for the camera. Sadly I don't have a signature pose, but I'm working on it. LOL!
P.s.- Thank YOU for cooperating with my sickness. I was terribly terribly sick and was unable to post. After tons of medication and time I am now back and will be posting through the weekend!
P.s.s.- Expect another post today...
