NYFW: Vera Wang...
You Can Run But You Can't Hide...
No one can hide from me...and much less if you are dressed as well as this man. Something that I saw a lot from streetstyle photographers during NYFW is that they wore headphones and shot people while listening to music. I really want to try doing that sometime. It's probably one of the best experiences ever considering that you are in your own world without distractions...just doing what you want to be doing.
I Need A Cab ASAP!...
I have always wanted to take a picture of a beautiful and fashionable woman signaling for a cab. Lucky enough for me I found the opportunity to take this picture outside of the Marc by Marc Jacobs show. I don't see why a cab driver wouldn't want to pick this woman up and drive her.
By the way...does that woman in the left look a bit familiar? She appears in THIS post.
Fur Fever...
Let's talk fur for a second. It's definitely trending this season. EVERYONE is wearing it EVERYWHERE! You can find it in every color, every style, every designer, every store, etc. I have even seen some men sporting fur and keeping the trend alive. If you are the type of person who follows trends or likes to be trendy...get yourself some fur...if you haven't done so already!
A Thousand Dollar Thrifted Cardigan...
This picture has EVERYTHING to do with what I am doing this morning. The story behind this picture is simple. This man was a showstopper with his crazy printed red cardigan. Streetstyle photographers shot him and people admired his red cardigan. As he is walking away...a streetstyle photographer in front of me asks this man where he bought his cardigan from and what designer it was. This man responds that he bought it for $12 at a thrift shop. He literally fit in perfectly with rest of the crowd who was exiting the Jeremy Scott show.
I am going thrift shopping today for the first time in years...and I am looking for specific items which I hope to find. Knits, leather, and tweed are all fabric which I hope to find and purchase. I also want to be a bit daring and step out of my comfort zone with a few clothing items. Wish me luck!

Tommy Ton+Miroslava Duma+theTrendyDwarf...
As I am browsing through all of my favorite fashion blogs and websites...reading and gaining knowledge on everything fashion...I find THIS picture on Jak & Jil. I appear in the background of this picture taken by Tommy Ton after the Marc by Marc Jacobs show in NYFW. I swear the only reason he posted this picture specifically with me in the background is because he knows I am a BIG fan of his work and would find it immediately on his blog. How does he know I am a BIG fan? When I met him and talked to him for a bit...I told him.
I have front and back pictures of Miroslava...those will be posted on here soon enough. I just felt like sharing this picture/news.
NYFW: Kate Lanphear...
I know the title says Kate Lanphear...BUT I am not entirely sure this is her. Regardless of whether it is her or not...I shot this picture because I LOVE THAT JACKET! I also really like the way this woman styled herself. Notice the blazers sleeve is cuffed so that she can call more attention to the color of her shirt. Notice her hat! Not too many people wear proper hats now a days. Women...if you want to get a bit more noticed...wear a proper hat! Find a hat that suit your complexion and wear it.
NYFW: Russel Simmons...
This is my shot of Russel Simmons leaving the Betsey Johnson show at Lincoln Center. If you want to see other Famous Faces that I encountered during NYFW...please go LIKE theTrendyDwarf Facebook page and you can see them there!
An Aztec Scarf...
For some weird reason, I really love pictures of fashionable people smoking. I think it's one of the coolest things ever! Sometimes I ask people for their picture as they're lighting their cigarette and they will ask me if I want them to be smoking in the picture or not. I always tell them to light up and just do what they do.

Front Row At StyleWeek Providence...
As always it is a tradition of mine to select a few people and shoot them sitting in front row right before the show. This time I decided to shoot a blog regular and friend of mine...Joseph Gualtiere from Uptempo Magazine and his friend. Joseph always knows how to put together a good looking ensemble with tailored pieces but also statement pieces which makes him standout in a room.
