Urbanization...

Photobucket

I love the urban feel of his outfit. It's not super well dressed but it's not so poorly dressed. It's up there but not all the way. Not that there is anything wrong with his ensemble BUT what I mean is that whatever he is doing in terms of his outfit...he is doing it perfectly! I also really love the all blue look he has going on. He just makes it look new and cool by adding different shades of blue and anchoring the whole look with white here and there.

Spring Colors...

It was the YELLOW skirt that caught my attention. I barely had any chance at capturing this woman and her ensemble since she was walking like 90 miles per hour, BUT at least I got something. This could not be posted at a better time since the trend for this Spring season is bright colors and neon colors and everything BRIGHT!

P.s.- It's my oldest sister Alex's birthday today! I will be posting something with more detail later...

Badass...

Photobucket

I love how this picture depicts this man as a preppy man with a bit of a careless badass. I like it. His pose just kind of says badass and his ensemble reflects the preppy side.

P.s.- I will be shooting a few SelfStyle shoots this weekend for YOUR enjoyment and my conscience. I feel like I haven't done a SelfStyle post in FOREVER! Maybe because I haven't done one in forever. Therefore, I will do it this weekend.

I LOVE HER DRESS...

For some reason I felt that this dress resembled something spiritual. Something supernatural. Maybe it was just me falling in love and in reality I was just feeling love. All I know is that I felt something when I first saw this dress and it was something good, something positive. Even the way the dress moved was outstanding. I hope I see more dresses like this during the summer season.

Happy Mothers Day...

P.s.- A more legitimate post on Mothers Day will come later.

On Thursday I was invited to the Steven Alan event at The Tannery in Boston. The best thing about the event was that Steven Alan himself(seen in the above pictures) was going to be at the event! I got the event early and saw a few faces that I recognized and talked to them. I met the wonderful Brittney from The Tannery who I had been tweeting about going to the event. She was super nice and after chatting a bit she offered to introduce me to Steven Alan. I was so nervous/excited at the same time. I talked to Steven Alan for a few minutes and then asked Brittney if she could take a picture of us two together and she did. After an hour the party really got full and I saw a ton of people I knew. I met some people who I had been wanting to meet for the longest time and met others for the first time yesterday. Towards the end of the party(when he was less occupied) I asked Steven Alan about the inspiration of his Spring collection and he said it came from the South of France and Italy. His inspiration paid off and his collection turned out to be impeccable. I want to thank Brittney from The Tannery for inviting me and Steven Alan for showing up to the event and taking his time to talk to me.

Preview To The Event...

Photobucket

The title says it all. Due to complications I am unable to post about the event RIGHT NOW, but I will definitely posting about the event later on today or tomorrow morning at the least. I took this picture last night at the Steven Alan event at The Tannery in Boston. I thought these heels were AMAZING! I had to take the picture. If this is any indication of the event, clearly it was a great time and I certainly enjoyed myself along with a friend I brought with me. BUT more to read and see about the event later...

Constantly Working For You...

Photography taken by: ToddLee

Just a quick shot taken by a more professional photographer of some people(including myself) at the Spirited Magazine party. Notice how I am holding my camera AND cell phone in my hands. Yeah...that's for THIS blog. That is me at work(also enjoying myself) for YOU to enjoy. I will be posting the videos of the talented Audrey Ryan in the days to come.

Look At All The Stripes!...

I just have a small comment to say. I LOVE when people make it easy on me when I take their picture for my blog. For example this woman who I asked. I asked her and she said yes ad I took the picture. I show her the shot and she asked me if I wanted to take another shot and I obviously said yes. I also really love when people pose creatively without me asking them or allowing me to tell them how to pose. I typically don't tell people how to pose only because I feel lucky enough to be allowed to take their picture so I feel that asking more from people will turn them off and not want to be shot by me anymore. SO I love when people make it a funner experience by being creative and easy to shoot.

(Amanda Antunes and myself in the above picture)
I want to start off by thanking the lovely Amanda Antunes Editor-In-Chief of Spirited Magazine for inviting me to this event. The event was so well thought out and went along with the theme(Museum of Innocence) of the third magazine published by Spirited. The event displayed most(if not all) of the third magazines pages. Basically all of the creative admissions of art sent to Spirited Magazine by professional people trying to best convey the current magazine theme. The theme of the current publication is Museum of Innocence which is supposed to signify the idea of being innocent when we are young and slowly losing our innocence as we grow older. The DJ's were great and I wouldn't expect anything less from DJ's whose name is Pajaritos(meaning little birds in Spanish). About two hours into the party we all enjoyed(at least I did) of some GREAT live music by a local artist called Audrey Ryan. The party was something like I never experienced before and I definitely loved it! Of course I met quite a few people(also saw a couple familiar faces...which was wonderful) and took tons of pictures(which will be posted within the next few days). Once again, much thanks to Amanda Antunes for inviting me!
