I'm back!!! I am still on vacation and I am currently in Washington DC. If you follow me on Twitter, you would know.

Mustard skinny's? I think YES!

New Blog, Almost New Year...

Photobucket

It's going to be a new year so I think it is only fitting that I remake my blog.

Spirited Magazine #4 Pt. 2...

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

This event was the first time I ever used a Canon FILM camera with a 50mm lens. I would like to think that for my first time ever shooting in film...I did a pretty good job. That's just my opinion though.

Spirited Magazine Number Four Pt.1...

Photobucket Photobucket
This is the first post of a series of posts which I will dedicate to the Spirited event which I was invited to a couple weeks ago. It was the release party for the fourth edition of the magazine. This time, the magazine is not only online BUT it can be physically acquired by purchasing it online and at the Lorem Ipsum book store in Cambridge. It is a great accomplishment for the magazine and Amanda the Editor-In-Chief of Spirited. I am so happy for her and I thank her very much for inviting me to the release party!

Power Of The Bag Pt. 1...

Photobucket

I sincerely apologize for this awkward lack of posting through out the past week. I have just been so busy between working(in order to pay for an upgraded camera) and future blog events and several other things. It's also not easy to get good daylight shots because the sun starts setting at around 3:30PM and we lose the sun at around 4:30PM. I promise to try and get back to posting regularly. Be patient and bare with me...please!

A Hipster's Style...

Photobucket Photobucket

Can I just express my love towards true hipsters and their natural sense of hipster style. I love the soft feminine cobalt blue dress with the hard rough leather jacket/ military-inspired backpack. I just love everything about this look including the bandanna which adds to the hipster look AND the dreads.

IDGAF Attitude...

Photobucket

This guy is the epitome of an I Don't Give A F*ck attitude and he looks good pulling it off. White after labor day? Who cares when you're dressed as cool/relaxed as this man is. I have this weird obsession with crazy rebel-looking tattoos which compliment an equally rebellious style...and this man has both. I love this. Hopefully this fall/winter I will be seeing more of this kind of look in men.

A Mix Of Textures...

Photobucket

I love this woman's mix of textures. This ensemble is perfect for the extremely chilly autumn weather that were currently undergoing here in Massachusetts. Believe me or not...it has already snowed here. It snowed during the month of October which was a first for me. Us Bostonian's have already started to pull out our heavier jackets and knits for this fall.

I Ran Out Of Catchy Post Titles...

Photobucket

I have literally run out of inspiration and run out of creativity. This is ridiculous. I think it may be due to all the stress I have been feeling lately(personal reasons). All I know is that it is not cool at all and I need my creativity back because it is what makes me complete. Creativity is who I am. ALRIGHT...enough about me.

Nude Heels, Royal Blue, And Blood Red Lipstick...

Photobucket

For some reason this woman wearing her leggings, reminds me of an American Apparel model. I love both their looks. I must also say that I am SUPER attracted to nude colored garments/heels because I think it is such a subtle and chic color. She look fierce and I love it.

One Night's Adventures...

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Sadly I forgot to take a picture of what we were eating BUT if you are super curious...it was sushi. We were at the Wicked Fit premier event at the Red Lantern which I had never been to. I didn't even know it was an Asian restaurant. Turns out their sushi is delicious! I'm not a HUGE sushi fan, but I am not against it either. I like to try new things and my friend and I shared an order of sushi and it was amazing. I definitely recommend you pay the Red Lantern a visit if you haven't done so already. If you have...stop by again to taste their delicious food and enjoy their crazy decorations.

Miss Massachusetts 2010...

Photobucket
Photobucket

I have been taking people's pictures for a while now and it is safe to say I have quite the collection of people pictures. It is also safe to say I have shot multiple styles and multiple types of ensembles. What I'm trying to say with all of this is that a simple ensemble like the one worn by Miss Massachusetts 2010(above)...I've seen several times. The LBD, the clutch and the heels. What makes this ensemble and other looks just as simple as this one special is the tiny details. Just look at those heels...they are something to marvel at! If I am not mistaken...look at her ring(same hand she's holding her clutch with)...it's HUGE! She looks absolutely chic. Just remember people...if you are going for a simple look please make sure the details are on point.

Mustard Is Lovely...

Photobucket

Mustard is the new trend. It's time for all of us to jump on the bandwagon and get to the nearest boutique/shop that we can to purchase several mustard colored garments! Just kidding...let's not ALL rush at once.

Omid Maxey Of Safar...

Photobucket

It's safe to say he is AMAZING. I saw him walk through the front door and I said...I MUST talk to him or else I might regret not doing so. I talked to him. We spoke briefly because he seemed like he was busy and in a rush. SO I quickly took his picture and let him go his way.

Monique of Wicked Fit...

Photobucket

I must give a big thanks to Monique for inviting me to the premiere event for the Wicked Fit TV show on Style network. It was such a great time and Monique was so lovely. We talked about the show and how it was being filmed and she is one of very few good conversationalists.I had a wonderful time conversing with her.

Mr. Popular...

Photobucket

I finally met Sean from BostonMO(twitter) at the Steven Alan Event. I was super excited to meet him because we talk quite a bit via Twitter and we had never met before that event. He's such a cool person to talk to. Very relaxed and social person who can keep a conversation going without it being awkward or boring. In fact...there is nothing boring about Sean! It was simply lovely meeting him.

Thank you to the very lovely Shanna for putting together such a lovely blogger meetup AND inviting me! I enjoyed myself. Nothing like having discussions about fashion and blogging.

Emily Muller Boston Fashion Week 2011...

The Emily Muller show was fantastic! Literally. It was more suited for a younger audience and it was more for women who want to look chic out on the street or at a bar. I couldn't see any of Emily Muller's pieces being worn to an office...unless you work for a wicked cool company who doesn't care so much for a strict dress code. The collection was inspired by parachutes. Parachutes are big and have a ton of flow to them. This inspiration explains the extremely well placed leather straps. In my opinion...the straps were literally the BEST touch the collection could ever have. Emily Muller really has an eye for detail and I appreciate that. It certainly shows in her work...and I tried to capture some of the details. The collection was a delight to watch. I must thank Emily Muller for inviting me to her show and her after party!

It's The Minuscule Details That Count...

Photobucket Photobucket

People tend to look at the general look of garments BUT forget the small details which can in many occasions make or break the garment/ensemble. Do not forget about the details! Imagine if accountants misplaced a single number in a very long equation...yeah...they would be screwed! The same goes for the tiny details of a garment.

There Is A First Time For Everything...

Photobucket

This is the woman who made my life. Literally. So it's my first day at Boston Fashion Week and the day has ended and no more shows left. Everyone is leaving to go home. I am with my blogger friends meeting models and designers and everyone. We finally decide to leave and we are walking down a set of stairs. I spot the woman in the picture by the exit doors and I think to myself, "She must end up on my blog! I need her picture!" Before I even get the chance to verbalize my thoughts, SHE asks me if I was THE TrendyDwarf. I reply with a yes, and to that she asks if she can get a picture of me. I could never refuse such an offer and I let her get her picture. I also asked her for her picture and she was more than happy to allow me to shoot her. It was so surreal. I have never had someone recognize me AND ask for a picture of me. Don't get me wrong...I have had people recognize me on the street BUT never ask for a picture. By the way, I will NEVER get used to people recognizing me on the street. It amazes me every single time and I feel so lucky when someone does recognize me. This woman was my first and I thank her for doing what she did. I know she owns a blog BUT I can't find the card on which she wrote her blog name. All I know is that I did check her blog out and it's AMAZING.

P.s.- If YOU happen to find this post and read it...please email me your blog so I can put a link to it on this post and continue reading it for myself.

My Good Friends...

Photobucket

I love being part of the small dedicated fashion community here in Boston. I have made so many friends(like Martini and Nicole in the picture above) and I always enjoy their company. It literally is the BEST feeling when I walk into an event and find myself in the presence of another blogger that I know.We may come from different places or backgrounds BUT we all have one thing in common and that is our love for fashion. Us bloggers feel the need to spread our love for fashion just like sicknesses get spread around. Imagine if fashion were a sickness and we could all catch it. Our world would be full of Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, etc.
