Cool window display, huh? Well I found this store in Newbury Street in Boston where all the designer boutiques and stores are located. I was shocked. I walked in this store for the first time and thought I had walked in to heaven. So many beautiful, trendy, chic, and rebellious pieces of clothing! Even the employees there were dressed super cool. This is kind of like an Urban Outfitters, but with a rebellious theme to it and the prices are a little higher. Their clothing is quality clothing though so it's definitely worth the extra money. If you visit their website(allsaints.com) you will be able to see all the wonderful clothing that I'm talking about.

I just quickly want to thank all my new blog followers and Twitter followers and Bloglovin followers! I already have done so on Twitter...but in case some of you don't follow me on Twitter and didn't get the Tweets...here it is. I really appreciate ALL of your support and ALL of your follows. I cannot begin to describe in words how much it means to me. THANK YOU once again!!!

Photography by: Me!

If you follow me on Twitter, you would be aware that this week is Boston Fashion Week(BFW) and that I have been DYING to attend some of the events. Well, this is my first event.

L'elite Boutique in Newbury Street was hosting an exposition or showroom of their exclusive designer dresses. Most of it was actually couture which was pretty AMAZING since I have never been up close to couture clothing. L'elite sells high end designers from France, Spain, Lebanon, and United States. Their prices range from $250-$1000 and above. Obviously the dresses that cost $250 are on sale at the very back of the boutique, but it doesn't matter because the dresses on sale are also very chic. If I were a woman and I stepped into L'elite and saw the high prices for the extremely beautiful couture dresses that are sold there, I wouldn't even care! I would just spend. Think about it...you spend a good amount of money for 1) a quality dress 2) a couture dress(the word COUTURE should explain itself perfectly. period.) 3) your dress will not ever be worn by anyone but you because it's couture and exclusive! As soon as my sister and I arrived at the shop, we were kindly greeted by the pretty women working at the store and they were kind enough to show us around. They talked to us a bit about every designer and my sister started talking about how she really wanted to buy her prom dress for this year at L'elite. So who knows...we may be returning later on during the year to buy my sister her prom dress.

By the way...the cool jacket and skirt combination(it is the 4th picture from top to bottom) is from a designer called Lian Carlo. My sister and I both strongly agree that his dress(7th pictures down) and his jacket have the coolest print ever! Not to mention that to go along with the camouflage looking print he pleated the jacket and dress to give it an even tougher, yet feminine look. I just love his dresses.

P.s.- I have linked every single "L'Elite" word (including the one in this sentence) so that you can click it and go directly to the Boutique's website and check out what they have! Trust me...YOU will not be disappointed.

P.s.s.-I am determined to learn more about womens clothing. When I say I want to learn about womens clothing, I am referring to the way it is built, structured, and which are the best fabrics. Especially for high end dresses because since I want to be a mens apparel designer...I know EVERYTHING about mens clothing, but I know nothing about womens. Ask me about how to differentiate a high quality mans suit from a low quality mans suit and I will know. Ask me what are the best fabrics for mens suits and I will say Emernegildo Zegna and Loro Piana and various other fabrics from textile mills in England, Italy, and France. Once again I say, I know nothing about womens high end dresses and it annoys me that I don't know!

P.s.s.s.-Talking about mens suits...I will soon be posting pictures of the various suits which I have contributed my help in making and have actually done a lot in. My hand sewing skills have gone from decent to unbelievably fast and I like it! Also my sewing machine skills have improved my a ton as well! I will be posting pictures soon!

Looking Good and Knowing It!...

The green glasses in contrast to her black dress. Looks pretty cool. I think the way she walks and looks around...she knows she looks good.

The Well/COOL Dressed Man...

LOOK at the shirt and tie combination!! I met this man at Nordstrom. He is in fact one of the employees working there. I happened to be looking at some Sperry Top-Sider shoes and he came up to me and started explaining in full detail why the shoe is made the way it is and how comfortable it is. Not only was I in shock of this mans knowledge of the shoes, but I was also shocked at how well and cool he was dressed!

His tie is a simple design, but still out there. The shirt is your typical(not really) navy blue and white checkered shirt. When paired together he looks like he IS the epitome of the word, "COOL!" Also, look at how he did not forget to wear his pocket square! Amazing!

P.s.- I have started sewing classes 3 times a week and I am loving it! Just the feeling of the needle and string and cloth in my hands is just phenomenal!

Some Streetstyle Pics From Faneuil Hall...

I was in Boston yesterday...specifically in Faneuil Hall and the amount of people there was outstanding! Of course there had to be so many people walking the beautiful streets of Boston, after all it is practically Spring time and the weather yesterday was about 57 degrees! I felt like I was at a candy shop and the people walking were the candy! There were so many people dressed with really cool ensembles! Mostly women though. Ughhhh! Why do women have to dominate the fashion scene?! Honestly, does it hurt men to simply wear more decent looking clothes?? Anyway, I felt like the luckiest kid alive because my batteries were almost dead and I began taking pictures like crazy! Then they died and I was like, "NO!!" So I looked in my camera case and there was ONE double A battery. I put it in my camera and it lasted for the remainder of the time. I would call that LUCKINESS.

What I like about this girls ensemble is her dress! The design on it was what mainly caught my attention from a distance. To be completely honest...she was no where near me at all! She was about maybe 50-80 feet away, but thanks to the super zoom camera I have, I was still able to shoot her! I also like how she isolates the design on her dress by wearing a black North Face jacket and black leggings. The leather boots are just really cool as well!

P.s.- Is it flu season already?! I have the flu right now and it's the worst sickness or disease EVER! I swear the worst sicknesses that one can have are strep throat because you can barely even swallow without it killing stinging your throat and the flu because it's just bad all over. So if I do not post or whatever(I am going to strain myself to posting for YOU) you can blame the flu for me not posting. Well, I am going back to sleep since I currently feel dizzy(I am sitting on a couch...how is it possible to feel dizzy?) and have a tremendous headache!

Eccentric Colored Doors...

I noticed there were a lot of colored doors and I loved it! I was like wow...super original and creative! Like it would just cal my attention so much. I would be talking to my sister or cousins, "So like I was saying about how the stock market has affected the United States..." and I would just stop randomly and stare at the door that called my attention. My conversations were always chopped. Oh, and yes...I talk about the stock market for fun on my spare time. JUST KIDDING! I really don't.

Just enjoy these pictures. Oh, and check out more of my photography and the ones from my friends from The Coffee Cup at PhotoBook!

The Bright Blue Coat...

Such a cute couple. I was with my cousin in Boston waiting in the very long line to begin ice skating. This woman and her boyfriend(I am guessing) stood next to us. All I can remember was noticing her bright blue coat and thinking, "Wow! I have to shoot(take a picture) her and her boyfriend!" So I tell my cousin whose holding the camera if he would ask them with me to shoot them and he did. I think I might have startled them a bit, but I really wanted them to say yes. They were so startled at first, and when they finally agreed to doing it, they were nervous. At least the woman was. I gave them my card to prove that we were serious and we were not kidding about having a blog and that we would post this picture. That is always the first doubt people have when I ask them...like, is this kid serious? I am happy and grateful that they accepted to letting us take a picture of them.

Like I said earlier, what caught my attention about this womans ensemble was her coat. I never really have time to observe the little details of a persons outfit when I ask them. Only after I take their picture and upload it onto my laptop do I get that opportunity. The bright blue color(I forget that color blues name) is what caught my attention, and it's good that it did because when I look at this picture over and over again, I notice the little details about the coat which I love. For example, the big buttons. I think they add a really chic personality and make the coat look a bit more tighter. I also love the brown leather boots! I love them so much!

Thank You so much for letting us take a picture of you for this blog!
